• The Fourth India-Netherlands Cyber Dialogue was held in New Delhi on June 16 and 17.
• It took forward the discussions held in the field of cyber and digital technologies in line with the Roadmap of India-Netherlands Strategic Partnership (2026-2030) released during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Netherlands in May 2026.
• The two sides exchanged views on the evolving cyber threat landscape, national strategies and policies, digital public infrastructure, data protection, transnational cybercrime and law enforcement.
• They also discussed cooperation in multilateral fora, including the latest developments on these issues at the United Nations including the UN Convention against Cybercrime, AI governance and the ongoing processes related to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the context of international security.
• The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in cyber matters, particularly in areas such as coordination between law enforcement agencies, Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERTs) and continuing engagement on joint capacity-building and training initiatives.
• Both sides reviewed avenues for collaboration on the protection of critical information infrastructure and supply chain vulnerability.
