Bayern Munich wins 2020 UEFA Champions League

Defeating Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) by a solitary goal at the Estadio da Luz, Lisbon, Bayern Munich has won the UEFA Champions League 2020 thus winning the title for a sixth time.

Such was the dominance of Bayern in the whole tournament that it has won all the 11 matches in the competitions this season, becoming the first team ever to do so. They put 15 goals past Chelsea, Barcelona and Lyon on their way to the showpiece with Paris Saint-Germain, and the expectation was that Bayern would show up and blow the French champions aside.

The final was worth the stature albeit low-scoring with aggressive football and the difference was Kingsley Coman and his 59th min goal. Since then, PSG went all out attack to score the equalizer but Bayern was equal to the task. They had a game plan; get tight, cut off the supply to Neymar, nullify the pace of Mbappé.
