• Alcaraz overpowered seven-time champion Djokovic in straight sets.
• Alcaraz now has four Grand Slam trophies with a perfect record in major finals, after his two Wimbledon triumphs, his US Open victory in 2022 and his French Open win last month.
• Alcaraz equals the Open Era record for most Grand Slams won at the age 21 or under, joining Boris Becker, Bjorn Borg and Mats Wilander.
• Defeat denied Djokovic a 25th Grand Slam title to surpass Margaret Court in the all-time list and also equal Swiss Roger Federer’s haul of eight men's singles titles at Wimbledon.
• In the women’s singles, Barbora Krejcikova of the Czech Republic defeated Italy’s Jasmine Paolini to win the Wimbledon title for her second Grand Slam singles triumph.
• Krejcikova, the 31st seed, won 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 to add the Wimbledon crown to her 2021 French Open victory.
• In the men’s doubles final, Britain’s Henry Patten and Finland’s Harri Heliovaara defeated Australians Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson 6-7(7) 7-6(8) 7-6(11-9) to clinch their first grand slam titles.
• In the women’s doubles final, American Taylor Townsend captured her first Grand Slam title as she and Czech partner Katerina Siniakova beat Canadian Gabriela Dabrowski and New Zealand's Erin Routliffe 7-6(5) 7-6(1). Siniakova now has nine doubles Slams.
